Mapping the world
Mar. 8th, 2022 05:36 pmToday I took Older Great Nephling (who is four) to the big playpark.
They have a cunning see-saw with lorry springs which means we can play on it together without being completely unbalanced.
He also enjoyed swings, slides and the sandpit. As well as walking along the log fence barriers between the bits of the park.
Last time it was a bit tricky getting him to leave, so I had come prepared (with parental permission) with sweets in case I needed to bribe him.
In the event, getting out Google Maps and showing him where we were and where we were going was sufficient bribe.
He liked watching the blue arrow that was us moving along the screen.
