Time and motion

I am just going to grumble for a while about the family's tendency to leave half a forkful of rice or whatever spread out over a plate at the end of a meal.

Clearly it makes more sense for me to have to lift the plate to the biomass bin and scrape the remaining bit of food off, rather than for the person whose plate it is to just eat it so the plate can go straight in to the dishwasher from the table...

Sigh.
